About Khian
Khian possesses over 6 years of experience in education, sales and in corporate training. Khian graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in Vancouver, Canada. He now continues to work remotely in a clinical lab led by Dr Amori Yee Mikami, where he contributes to research in relationships between children and emerging adults.
Drawing from his experience in psychology—specifically personality and evolutionary behavior—he has facilitated learning sessions and workshops for multiple industries, including EY, Deloitte, AIA, SMBC, BAT, and Schneider Electric. He has also worked with participants globally, including Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia.
A prolific writer, reader and speaker, Khian consistently publishes his newsletters and his teachings online. He has also been a seasoned member in Toastmasters International since 2016, and was the winner of the National Public Speaking Contest in 2023.
Khian aspires to embody the Chinese adage, “A fine scholar and soldier (文武双全)”. As such, he takes seriously his knowledge and consistently upskills himself by reading every day; and his physical fitness: he was a state-level badminton player and now works out every day.
